Dr. Erin Flynn founded the Hedge School Cooperative in Austin, Texas in January of 2021. Having served as teacher, department head, and principal at a Texas public charter school and previously teaching at the University of Galway in Ireland, they decided to forge a new path in education for herself and her students.

I started my career as a chemist, but fell in love with learning about cognition. I've designed educational games, published social science research, taught educational psychology in colleges, and co-found a tech start up.
